TALLAHASSEE, FL (Sept.7) – The web stream for the FAMU vs. TSU football game had issues getting to subscribers.  The issue was with a national server that our web service provider uses.  We had no control over the technical issue.

FAMU Athletics has invested tens of thousands of dollars to get the infrastructure in place to feed high quality video to the web portal.  We have also acquired additional equipment for the web cast, valued at over $50,000.  In addition, we have acquired the services of a certified technician to monitor the web cast during the game, to prevent issues on our part.

We did provide a clean signal to our provider, but the server issue did not allow the stream to be distributed.  We apologize for this inconvenience.  We will be talking with our web provider to ensure that we fully refund everyone who subscribed this game, and work on measure to prevent this from happening again.
