William "Billy" Rolle is a distinguished football coach and athletic administrator with more than three decades of experience in program leadership, player development, and championship-level success at both the high school and collegiate levels.

Widely regarded as one of the most accomplished high school football coaches in Florida history, Coach Rolle is the only coach in the state to capture Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) state championships at three different schools. He led Miami Northwestern to titles in 1998 and 2007, Miami Killian in 2004, and Miami Southridge in 2016. He concluded his high school head coaching career with an outstanding record of 179 wins and 62 losses.

Coach Rolle’s excellence has been recognized through numerous prestigious honors, including National High School Football Coach of the Year (American Football Monthly), Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year, and Florida State Coach of the Year. He has twice been named Miami Dolphins NFL Coach of the Year and has been selected to coach in elite all-star events such as the Nike All-Star Classic, North/South Shrine Game, and Stan Marks All-Star Game. Additionally, he served as head coach for the Dade vs. Broward All-Star Game and as a coach for USA Football’s Team USA, reflecting his national reputation for leadership and instruction.

A proud graduate of Florida A&M University, Coach Rolle maintains a strong and enduring connection to his alma mater. As a student-athlete, he played defensive back under College Football Hall of Fame coach Rudy Hubbard. In recognition of his contributions to athletics and education, he was inducted into the Florida A&M Sports Hall of Fame and named a Distinguished Alumnus for Athletics.

Currently, Coach Rolle serves as Football Player Personnel Development and High School Relations at Florida A&M University. In this role, he supports student-athlete development, builds and maintains recruiting relationships, and strengthens partnerships with secondary schools across the state of Florida. He previously served as Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Backs Coach at FAMU, where he helped guide the program to competitive success and postseason appearances while emphasizing academic excellence, personal growth, and athletic performance.

Throughout his career, Coach Rolle has remained deeply committed to mentorship and leadership development. He has coached and guided numerous athletes who have gone on to successful collegiate and professional careers, including NFL standouts Teddy Bridgewater, Amari Cooper, and Antonio Bryant. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, accountability, character development, and academic achievement as foundations of athletic excellence.
