Erin Tucker became the assistant coach (hurdles) of the women's track and field program at Florida A&M University in October of 2021.
Tucker, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, was a full-time student-athlete at East Carolina University. Over four years, she earned four C-USA Championship rings and set four school records.Â
After graduating, Tucker competed as a post-collegiate athlete with the TRS track club coached by Lennox Graham. Qualifying for the Indoor USA Track and Field Championships in 2017. She also found tremendous success volunteering and mentoring young athletes with the local track club, the Charlotte Flights.Â
Before arriving at FAMU, Erin coached at Lincoln High School, garnishing several regional and state qualifiers in the 100mh and 300mh.
Tucker earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and forensic science from East Carolina in 2014 and earned her master's degree in cybersecurity with a concentration in digital forensics from the University of South Florida.Â
