2010: McCall transferred from St. Petersburg College where she was named Most Improved Player in Women's Tennis in 2010. She was also on the Dean's List and received a Student Union Award.

Personal: Vanessa McCall was born on February 9th, 1990 to Simone Bascoe and Vaughn McCall in Eatonville, Fla. She has four siblings; De' Andre Thomas, Davierre Thomas, Vaughn McCall Jr., and Steven Nichols. She actively participates in her church's activities, where she is involved in Every Kid Outreach and God's Respected Anointed Trustworthy Daughters. She is currently majoring in biology and in her free time she enjoys, watching movies, running, swimming and playing tennis.
