High School: Dean lettered in Girl's Tennis at North Clayton High School. She was MVP on the tennis team both junior and senior year. Her freshman and sophomore year she played in a state competition. Her senior year she completed the season undefeated.

Personal: Britney Tiera Dean was born on January 25th. 1990 to Chiquiti and W. Jerome Dean in Atlanta, Ga. She has one younger sister, Alexis Dean(16). Her uncle Thadeus Crockell played Football at FAMU. Dean is a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and National Council for Negro Women. She is a Pre-K/Primary Education major and in her spare time she enjoys listening to music, reading, and watching movies.
