Al Brown became the assistant coach of the women’s bowling program at Florida A&M University in 2011.
Brown is a Vietnam Era Veteran and a past Internal Affairs Commander for the Tallahassee Police Department.
Brown earned a bachelor's degree in Criminology/Psychology from Florida State University in 1979. His affiliations includes the United States Bowling Congress, The National Bowling Association, The National Ten Pin Coaches Association and a past Board Member of the Tallahassee Bowling Association.
Brown is married to Karen Brown and they have five children together. Together they won a National Mixed Doubles Championship.
