GRAND HAVEN, Mich. -- Florida A&M left its mark on the national collegiate golf championship this week, battling tough fields and even tougher conditions while showcasing the program's growth on the national stage.
Led by sophomore
Sascha Robinson (+5), who posted a strong opening round of 70 that included clutch birdies down the stretch, the Rattlers proved they could compete with the country's best.
Robinson finished tied for 21st overall, a performance that set the tone for Florida A&M's spirited effort.

Phalatphon Viboonviriyasakul (+13) and Miguel Illas (+15) also delivered steady play, grinding through challenging stretches to keep the team in contention. Viboonviriyasakul's consistency across all three rounds highlighted his poise, while Illas closed with determination.
Rounding out the lineup,
Emilio Garcia (+17) provided one of the week's most dramatic moments. After a tough second round, Garcia stormed back with a flurry of birdies to help the Rattlers climb the leaderboard, embodying the team's never-quit mentality.
Florida A&M ultimately placed 12th in the team standings, finishing ahead of service academies and several Power Five programs.
