JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida A&M University women's cross country team will open its 2025 season at the University of North Florida Cross Country Invitational on Friday, Aug. 29, in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Rattlers will send a squad of eight runners to the meet, including returners and newcomers eager to set the pace for the season. Representing FAMU are
Tara Bert,
Niya Coleman, Cheriece Cope,
Alesia Douglas, Leandra Ferrell,
Kristian Prather,
Jillian Salmon and Tamijah Scriven.
The invitational will feature a competitive field of programs from across the Southeast, providing FAMU with an early test.
The women's 5K is scheduled to begin at Cecil Field.
