Rattlers set to open season at 23rd Annual HBCU National Tournament

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. –– Florida A&M women's tennis travel to College Park, Georgia, for the 23rd Annual HBCU National Tennis Tournament at the South Fulton Tennis Center.

"We are excited to play in our first upcoming tournament to see how we are progressing this fall," said head coach Rochelle "Nikki" Houston.

After falling short in the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship match, the Rattlers look to have another big season and will get their first action this week.

The Rattlers returned six of the eight players from the 2024 team that made it to the championship match, including 2024 All-SWAC honorees Sara Rakim and Genesis Whitelock. The other returners include the 2023 SWAC Tournament MVP, Reagen Harris, Veronica Rodriguez, Susan Salinas, and Larissa Silva.
