JACKSONVILLE, Fla. –– Florida A&M golf had a great day one at the PGA Collegiate Championships, finishing in first place with a 301 (+13).
The Rattlers start the PGA Works Collegiate Championships with a 12-stroke lead after day one, as Prairie View A&M is in second place with a 313 (+25).
Patrick Mwendapole led the way for the Rattlers and the field, finishing day one in first place with a 72 (E). Taylor Bell is right behind Mwendapole in second with a 74 (+2). Marcus Taylor (77, +5), Patrick Jean-Pierre (78, +6), and Miles Taylor (80, +8) rounded out the day for the Rattlers.
