The Florida A&M track and field program travels to Louisiana this week for the 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships, where the women seek to sweep the team titles and the men look forward to claiming their first in the SWAC. FAMU's women recently earned the indoor trophy behind 122 total points. 
 
The final day of competition will be streamed live on the SWAC Digital Network beginning at 5 p.m. CT / 6 p.m. ET.

Joseph DeRosier ranks 23rd in the nation for the 110-meter hurdles, and Breanna Brown-Marshall recently added her name to the NCAA Division I Outdoor Qualifying List with the 30th best high jump.  
 
The first round of the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by the University of Kentucky from May 22-25. The "Top 48" athletes in each individual event will receive an invite. 
 
Last year, the Rattlers sent Teleda Williams and Pache' Caldwell to the preliminary round.
