Rattlers finish 6th in final tournament before SWAC Tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. –– Florida A&M golf completed their final tournament before they travel to Flowood, Mississippi, for the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament next week.

This week, the Rattlers traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, and finished tied for 6th at the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate. The Rattlers shot 876 (+24) but had their best round on the final day, shooting 285 (+1). The Rattlers placed higher than two other SWAC schools in the tournament, beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff (+26) and Alabama A&M (+44).

The Rattlers were led by Patrick Jean-Pierre, who finished 26th with a 217 (+4). Patrick Mwendapole finished right behind Jean-Pierre with a 218 (+5), and Taylor Bell was close with a 220 (+7).
