MONTGOMERY, Ala. –– Florida A&M tennis won their 13th straight SWAC match, beating Alcorn State 4-0. 

The Rattlers started winning the doubles point with victories from Genesis Whitelock and Sara Rakim (6-1), Rebekkah Gaines and Susan Salinas (6-0). Sierra Sandy and Larissa Silva's (5-2) match went unfinished.

Salinas won early by default in singles play to give the Rattlers an easy 2-0 lead. Wins by Gaines (6-0, 6-0) and Rakim (6-0, 6-3) wrapped up the match for the Rattlers. Sandy (6-6), Whitelock (6-3, 4-1), and Silva (4-6, 1-1) matches went unfinished.

The Rattlers wrap up the weekend with a match versus Grambling State on Sunday, February 18, at 11 a.m. Eastern.
