ATLANTA | Tara Bert continued to lead the way for the Florida A&M cross-country team, posting the fastest times in back-to-back meets. The junior transfer finished 61st out of 191 runners at the Georgia Tech XC Invitational Friday morning (Oct. 4), crossing the finish line in 24:29.39.

While several of her teammates were running their first collegiate 6K, there were others who had prior experience in the event.
Lacie Deboskie's time of 26:09.81 not only placed her 107th but also marked a personal record.

Close behind Deboskie,
Alesia Douglas finished with a time of 26:28.23, placing 114th, followed by
Kristian Prather in 122nd with a time of 26:47.59. The remaining Rattlers grouped closely in the later stages of the race, with
Niya Coleman finishing in 31:07.71 (171st),
Madison Gordon in 31:42.92 (175th), and a tight pack consisting of
Jillian Salmon (31:43.30 / 176th),
Chereice Cope (31:43.51 / 177th), and
Serenity Williams (31:43.54 / 178th).
