BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –– Florida A&M tennis player Genesis Whitelock earned her first Southwestern Athletic Conference Tennis Player of the Week award after last week's performance.

Whitelock was pivotal in securing the season-opening sweep at Southern Miss, winning her doubles match with Sara Rakim, 6-2. Whitelock went on to win her singles match (7-5, 6-0).
