Rattlers have two matches in Tallahassee as 2023 season begins

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– The 2023 Florida A&M women's tennis team opens their season up with two matches in Tallahassee this weekend. First up in the season/home-opener, the Rattlers host Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. Then on Sunday, the Rattlers will travel across the tracks to play at Florida State at 2 p.m.

Saturday, January 21, 10 a.m. Eastern vs. FGCU

The Rattlers will host Florida Gulf Coast for their home-opener. The Eagles come into the match with a 2-1 record after losing to Florida State (6-1) on Friday, Jan. 20.

Sunday, January 22, 2 p.m. Eastern at FSU

The Rattlers will travel across the tracks to take on the Seminoles (1-0), who defeated FGCU in their season-opener 6-1, and hosts Mercer on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Fans may come to the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex to watch the Rattlers on Saturday for free.
