Rattlers Season Comes to an End After Semifinals Loss

NEW ORLEANS, La. | Florida A&M tennis survived and advanced on the opening day of the SWAC Championships after a close 4-3 victory versus 4-seed Alabama A&M, but a 4-0 loss to 1-seed Jackson State ends the Rattlers' season.
 
The Rattlers opened the match losing the doubles point Aylen Hubeaut and Sierra Sandy lost 6-3, as well as Haleigh Porter and Adrienne Clayton.
 
The Rattlers were not able to put any points on the board as Adrienne Clayton (6-0, 6-0), Claudia Sumaia (6-3, 6-0), and Susan Salinas (6-1, 6-4) lost their matches.
 
The Rattlers finish their first season in the SWAC with a winning record and will lose Adrienne Clayton, Rachel Harden, Aylen Hubeaut, and Haleigh Porter.
