JACKSON, Miss. | Florida A&M tennis traveled to Jackson, Mississippi, to begin SWAC competition and head back to Tallahassee with a 2-1 record in conference play.
 
Game One | FAMU 5, MVSU 0
 
The Rattlers began the weekend dominating the Delta Devils as they won 5-0, and Aylen Hubeaut, Haleigh Porter, Sierra Sandy, Adrienne Clayton, and Claudia Sumaia all won 6-0, 6-0.
 
Game Two | FAMU 1, Alcorn 4
 
The Rattlers suffered their first conference loss to the Braves as Susan Salinas was the only Rattler to win a match (7-5, 6-1).
 
Game Three | FAMU 4, GSU 1
 
The Rattlers fell into a hole early after losing the doubles point, but Aylen Hubeaut (6-3, 6-3), Haleigh Porter (6-3, 6-3), Sierra Sandy (6-2, 6-3), and Susan Salinas (7-6, 6-3) won their matches to give the Rattlers their second win on the weekend.
 
The Rattlers host Alabama State Saturday, February 26 at 10 a.m. Eastern.
