Emilea Sturk, Jordan Shipp Finish Top Five as Rattlers Place Fifth in Rattler Classic

PENSACOLA, Fla. | The Rattlers traveled west to host the Rattler Classic and participated in their first tournament of the season, finishing in fifth out of nine as two Rattlers finished top five.

Emilea Sturk finished in second place with an average of 211.6, only a 1.4 pin difference than Tulane's Amelia Vasquez, who finished first. Jordan Shipp was also a top performer; she finished fifth with an average of 202.8.

The Rattlers won four matches in total, and those were against Grambling State, Southern, and Texas Southern (twice).

Next weekend, the Rattlers travel to Harahan, Louisiana, to participate in Tulane's Colonial Classic.
