BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Florida A&M's Emilea Sturk earned SWAC Bowler of the Week after her stellar performance in the Rattler Classic.

Sturk finished second individually at the Rattler Classic to open the season. She knocked down a sum of 1,058 (211.6 average) total pins. The Rattlers finished fifth overall as a team.

Sturk and the Rattlers travel to Harahan, Louisiana, to participate in Tulane's Colonial Classic this weekend.
