TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Florida A&M cross country is in Gainesville, Florida, to compete in the Mountain Dew Invite Saturday, September 11, 2021.

"We have a young team, and we are ready to see them in action," said head coach Nadia Alexander-Pompey.

The Rattlers look to bounce back after the FAU Invitational, in which they finished tenth.

Serenity Williams finished the 5K race with a time of 22:29.87. She was followed by Lacie Deboskie, who finished with a time of 23:35.10. Freshman Chloe Shaw finished with a time of 23:55.00.

The teams participating in the race are the Florida Gators, Bethune-Cookman, Daytona State College, Embry-Riddle, Flagler, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Lake Sumter State College, Lynn, Pasco-Hernando State College, Saint Leo, Seminole State College, South Florida State College, Tampa, UCF, and Warner.

The race begins at 8:30 AM.
