NORFOLK, Va. | There's so much that can be said about the Florida A&M women's tennis team and its journey through the 2021 season. Despite its ending -- a setback in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference title match -- there was much to be proud of.
The Rattlers claimed the No. 2 seed in the south division and upset No. 1 Norfolk State, 4-1, in the opening round before falling 4-0 to No. 1 South Carolina State in the championship match Sunday (April 25).
The postseason journey put FAMU in a position to win its first MEAC title since 1997.
Rachel Harden represented the Rattlers on the MEAC All-Tournament Team and also joined
Aylen Hubeaut and
Aylen Hubeaut as First Team All-MEAC selections.
