TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Florida A&M women's tennis team went the distance with South Carolina State Sunday (March 28), narrowly falling 4-3 at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex.
Rachel Harden and Arielle Nealy shined as a unit and individually. They were the only Rattlers to win their doubles match, doing so 6-4, and later took down SCSU in singles competition. Harden went three sets with Andjela Mihajovic (0-6, 6-3, 10-3) while Nealy upset Lasya Patnaik (4-6, 6-2, 10-8).
Aylen Hubeaut also defeated Hind Semiali in three sets (5-7, 7-5, 10-7).
FAMU heads to Mercer Tuesday (March 30) for a 12 a.m. match.
