Norfolk, Va. | Florida A&M tennis player,
Rachel Harden, has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week by the conference office on Wednesday.
Harden had phenomenal weekend, helping lead the Rattlers to victories over North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T. Harden dropped just one game over the two matches, defeating Ameer Robertson of NCA&T 6-0, 6-0.
She followed up her performance on Saturday, with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Maru Berghus of NCCU on Monday.
Harden, along with her doubles partner
Arielle Nealy, won both of their doubles matchups as well.
FAMU tennis returns to action this Saturday with a senior day match versus South Carolina State. First serve is set for 11 a.m. at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex.
