Floyd named FAMU Athletics Team Member of the Month

The Florida A&M Department of Intercollegiate Athletics named Ria Floyd as the Team Member of the Month for March for her dedication inside the athletic department and going above and beyond on gameday from promotions to marketing.
 
As the Special Projects and Marketing Coordinator, Floyd's primary responsibilities includes marketing and promotions, along with engaging in the fan experience. Her promotions have continued to set the bar high as Floyd, who is an alum of Florida A&M, works tirelessly to ensure fans are entertained and engaged in the promotional efforts. These efforts have included salute to service, senior day and fan day. In addition, she is the sports administrator for cheer and spirit.
 
"Ria has done an outstanding job in her role as Sports Marketing/Special Projects Coordinator," Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief of Staff Keith McCluney said. "We have seen an increase in our student engagement and in the overall excitement during our men's and women's basketball games. Ria has taken a leadership role in our department and we are excited to see and facilitate her continued growth and the growth of our Sports Marketing/Special Projects department under her leadership."
 
Fun Fact: Floyd was a former cheerleader at Florida A&M and she loves Disney.
