ORLANDO, Fla. | Aylen Hubeaut picked up the lone singles win at No. 2 for the Florida A&M University women's tennis team came up just a bit short in a 6-1 loss to Oakland University at the USTA National Campus on Friday afternoon.
Oakland earned the doubles point and completed the win by taking five of six singles matches.
Hubeaut defeated Nirva Patel at No. 2, 6-3, 6-1, to earn the lone FAMU victory.
Florida A&M (0-12) returns to action next Friday against Southern. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. from the Rattler Tennis Center.
