JACKSONVILLE, Fla. | Eliott Ekindi picked up a straight sets victory at No. 3 singles, but the Florida A&M University men's tennis team fell to North Florida, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the UNF Tennis Complex.

Florida A&M (0-13) fell behind in doubles play as UNF earned the points and took a 1-0 advantage into singles action.

In singles play, Ekindi defeated Charley Castaing, 6-3, 6-4, giving FAMU its lone point as North Florida claimed the match with wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6.

Florida A&M will take some significant time off before returning to the courts on March 15. The Rattlers' next match is a short trip to Florida State.
