Hubeaut earns win as FAMU falls to Air Force

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Aylen Hubeaut picked up the lone singles win at No. 2 for the Florida A&M University women's tennis team during a soggy Sunday morning in a 6-1 loss to Air Force.

FAMU and Air Force completed doubles action with the Falcons earning the point by winning all three matches at the Rattler Tennis Complex.

However, rain halted play and forced the two teams to complete the match at Florida State's Indoor Tennis Facility.

Hubeaut earned a 6-1, 6-2 straight sets victory over Meredith Jones, but Air Force claimed the match with wins at No. 1, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles.

Florida A&M (0-10) returns to action on Saturday at home against Stetson. First serve is set for 11 a.m. from the Rattler Tennis Center.
