TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | Arielle Nealy claimed the lone singles win on Tuesday afternoon for the Florida A&M University women's tennis team in a 6-1 loss to Mercer at the FAMU Tennis Center.

Florida A&M (0-8) dropped the doubles point as Mercer (2-5) won all three matches, including a 7-6 victory at No. 2.

In singles play, Nealy earned a 7-6 (5-3), 6-1 victory over Mary Courville at No. 3. The lone three-set match came at No. 1 as Maeva Roquebert outlasted
Aylen Hubeaut, 6-4, 1-6, 10-6.

The Bears won the match by claiming other singles victories at No. 2, No. 4 No. 5 and No. 6.

Florida A&M returns to the courts on Saturday at Florida State. First serve is set for 5 p.m. from the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
