Johnny Brown, nearly notched a double-double for Florida A&M (0-4), as the Rattlers fell to the Oklahoma Sooners (3-1, 1-0 Big 12) 85-54 inside the Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday afternoon.

Brown poured in a game and career-high 16 points with nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in the losing effort. He shot 50% from the field (6-of-12) and went 4-of-8 from three-point range.Â

FAMU leading scorer,
MJ Randolph, was the only other Rattler to score in double-figures. He contributed 15 points, on 6-of-14 shooting, to go along with two rebounds and three assists. He also went 3-of-4 from the free throw line.

Bryce Moragne snagged a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with seven pointsÂ

The Rattlers struggled to keep pace with the Sooners who had five players score in double-figures.

Kur Kuath led the scoring effort for the OU, tossing in 14 points with eight rebounds, three blocks and one assist.

Jai Clark ended the run, showing his ability from behind the arc, draining a deep three pointer with 13:42 left in the first half.Â

Bryce Moragne followed Clark's basket with a jumper of his own to cut the Sooner lead to 18-11.

MJ Randolph scored on a driving layup to pull the Rattlers within eight points with 3:19 left.Â

The Sooners regained control and carry a 41-27 lead into halftime.

OU began the second half on an 18-3 run, stretching its advantage to 59-30 with 14:12 left to play in the contest.Â

The Rattlers wouldn't be able to pull any closer as the Sooners walked away with an 85-54 victory.
