PENSACOLA, Fla. | The Florida A&M University women's bowling team finished second on Sunday after three hard-fought rounds of the 2020 Rattler Bowling Invitational at the Cordova Lanes.

FAMU posted an 8-3 record in the event, with a team average of 186.7 per game, getting edged out by Jackson State (9-2) for the tournament title.

Alabama State (8-4), which was tied with FAMU for the lead after two rounds on Saturday, finished third.

FAMU'S LEADING LADIES
Keondra Eaton finished first overall in the individual standings with a 199.0 total pinfall average with a 235 high game.
Chelsie Cleaves placed second at 188.80, with a high game of 235.

Monique Ragland rolled a 184.10 average, with a 212 high game to place fourth.
Â
Rounding out the FAMU contingent this weekend were
Demetria Bethel (159.0), Leanne McLaughlin (148.0) and
Destiny Williams (119.0).
