The Florida A&M University Sports Hall of Fame Committee is currently accepting nominations for the FAMU Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

Who can nominate an individual?

Anyone can nominate a person to be considered for the FAMU Sports Hall of Fame.

What is the process for nominating an individual?

To nominate a person, you must fill out the HOF nomination form and enclose a letter, articles or whatever deemed necessary to promote the candidate to the selection committee.  In addition, those submitting nominations will be informed of nomination committee meetings, whereby you will be scheduled to speak on behalf of the person you have nominated.

What is the deadline for nominating for the 2020 class?

The deadline for next year's class is Dec. 31, 2019, at midnight.  Nomination packets must be mailed to :

What are the categories for nominees?

Nominees go under two major categories, athlete or supporter.  Individuals who actually played are placed under the athlete category.  Coaches, administrators, support staff and university supporters are all grouped in the “supporter” category.
