STATESBORO, Ga. (March 3) - The Florida A&M Women's Tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to Georgia Southern, here Friday afternoon at Hanner Tennis Complex.

GSU (4-4) won the double point as they won all three of the double matches.

The Lady Rattlers (0-5) pick up two points in the contest as Alexis Brown defeated Alexis Prickett, 6-4, 6-3 at the No. 2 singles position, while Elysia Ortiz defeated Alexandra Langmo, 6-4, 6-0 at the No. 6 position.

FAMU will continue their eight-match road swing as they will take on Savannah State at 11 a.m. in Savannah, Ga.
