DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 7) - The FAMU Lady Rattlers made it two in a row, winning the 2nd Annual B-CU Beach Invitational Cross Country Meet today on Daytona Beach.  The Lady Rattlers repeated after winning the inaugural beach invitational last year.  The Lady Rattlers brought home 20 points, placing consecutively in places two through eight.

Coach Darlene Moore's comments on the meet: This was a challenging course and the times were slower than expected.  Due to Tropical storm Lee, the ladies were running in water due to a high tide on parts of the course.  In another point, they were running in deep loose sand.  The ladies preservered with the windy conditions and I was proud of their efforts.
