Princess Anne, Md (Oct. 29) - The FAMU Lady Rattlers nearly unseated the Hampton Pirates as MEAC champs in cross country as they closed to within five points of the championship.  The Lady Rattlers put up a credible fight in cold and rainy conditions.  In 40-degree temperatures, with rain and wind gusts, the Lady Rattlers gutted out the difficult course behind Simone Durden and Nadine Mulvaney.  Durden was the first Lady Rattler to place.

Mulvaney and Durden were joined by Chandelic Jackson on the All-MEAC team.
